About Joseph Mathew

After completing my schooling from St. Columba's School New Delhi, I joined New Delhi Institute of Management in 2002 for pursuing my graduation - BBA (Finance). Over the 3 years @ NDIM besides getting theoretical knowledge of various aspects around finance, I was given an opportunity to do a SWOT analysis for a leading garment export company and present it to the management. Post completing my graduation, I decided to do my MBA in Finance and joined WLC (Delhi Campus). It was a 2 year full time course with an 14 month training in an area where you as a student want to do a major, as I had decided to be in banking and finance I was selected by Kotak Securities. During this 14 months training I got a lot of insights, practical knowledge and skill sets for implementing the management principles that I had learned over the last 3-4 years to excel and grow. It was during campus selection week at WLC when I first got to know about Client Associates, post understanding their business model and the career path that they offered, I decided to attend the interview session and got selected as an Analyst. The journey at Client Associates started in June 2007 as an analyst, I was responsible for all analytical research work which had to be done for clients being managed by my team. It was in 2008 when I was promoted as an Associate, a role where I could and was able to meet, interact and advice investors and help them achieve their financial goals.
