About Joseph Middlebrook

Starting my work life with a series of customer facing jobs, I developed many communication soft skills working with people before pivoting to a warehouse role. Spending years in the warehouse industry as a manual laborer I found a love for training and working with people from all walks of life, helping them to develop themselves. It wasn't until later that I realized my joy didn't quite come from teaching the same monotonous material day in day out but in the continuous opportunity to learn. Every day and every trainee was a different person and a new opportunity to create a bond and new learning environment. A lot of forming that environment each and every time was including the incorporation of new technology and learning artistic ways to bend every new technology to my needs. Having found this insatiable need to learn I pushed myself out of my comfort zone to find a field that could accommodate my interest. With many options available to me I began to consume as much knowledge as I could in an effort to find something I didn't realize I had already known. An old dream in pursuing computer science in college came by multiple new paths in java development courses. I have completed those courses and done a 9 month internship at Amazon. I am now looking for my next working opportunity to contribute the skills I built in my experience.
