About Joseph Mowry

I’m a technologist with about a decade of experience in software development, hailing from the Midwest. In my career I started with low-level C++ programming, currently work with high-level automation in Python, and have worn a lot of hats. I’ve built and maintained large-scale platforms and I’ve learned how to keep complex systems running reliably under pressure. I pride myself in rallying the team around problems and being tenacious in finding the right solution (even if I'm not the one who gets to solve it directly). Beyond the code, I’ve found my strength in bridging gaps: troubleshooting tricky problems, collaborating across teams (in many time zones!), and ensuring that we're doing the thing the right way instead of just getting it done. I try to bring a mix of technical depth, communication skills, and adaptability so that I can make the team as strong as possible. I like being the catalyst. I’m proud of the solutions I’ve delivered, but even more of the role I’ve played as a connector, teammate, and problem-solver. Going forward, I’m looking for opportunities where I can leverage my engineering background while stepping further into roles that emphasize collaboration, strategy, and impact beyond just coding.
