About Joseph Naumann

My professional goal is to continue growing in knowledge to enhance my liberal education. I am continuing to learn to use appropriate technology for teaching students both face-to-face and online. I would like to increase enrollment in the new course I introduced in the Fall of 2008, Cultural Geography. My Personal goal is to continue growing spiritually, to associate with other "seekers," and to serve the Lord wherever He may call me. My professional experiences include: 1. Curriculum writing for the Ferguson-Florissant School District 2. Conducting sensitivity training sessions for the entire staff of McCluer North High School. Managing an out-of-school work experience program, The Community Learning Program, at McCluer North High School for eleven years. Used Excell spreadsheets to organize data for the Education Department at Fontbonne University. Had three professional articles published about the Community Learning Program (2) and Teaching History (1). Recognized at UMSL for outstanding use of technology in teaching.
