About Joseph Nusall

As a Global Sourcing Coordinator at New Era Cap, I work to successfully develop headwear product worn by on-field athletes and consumers all across the world. Working with our Product, Design, and Planning team, I help ensure all samples are executed correctly prior to Bulk Production. Constant communication with the vendors and internal team has led me to grow my knowledge of headwear and fashion terminology. Our company continues to expand the product leading me to strive to help balance the tradeoff between pricing and innovation. Negotiating finished goods and raw material pricing with the vendors has helped save our supply chain millions of dollars in 2023 and 2024. Leading numerous on-field and seasonal programs has helped enhance my communication, leadership, and analytical skills. Additionally, I took a Professional Develop Course at New Era, learning the necessary skills for managing employees with various personalities. A lot of these skills aligned with my athletic career where I had to help lead the team playing Quarterback and Pitcher. With my time growing at New Era, I have helped improve product development efficiency by assisting in numerous projects including Competitive Bidding, Cost Rationalization, and Fabric Test Tracking. My experience at Duquesne University and FedEx Ground has helped me strategically think to improve existing business processes at New Era and grow my career.
