About Joseph Ojo

As an HR Manager at MYD TELECOMS, one of the leading service providers in telecommunications across Africa, I am responsible for building human capability for local, global, and high-growth companies and communities. With the help of my team, I design and implement HR policies and programs that align with the company's vision and values, and that foster a culture of innovation, collaboration, and performance. I also oversee talent assessment and management, compensation and benefit, employee relations, and learning and development initiatives for a diverse and dynamic workforce. Over the course of my experience in HR, I have developed and demonstrated skills in leadership communications, communication ethics, and interpersonal leadership. I have worked with and consulted for some of the largest consumer finance technology and OEM companies in Nigeria, such as Vetifly and MacTay Consulting, where I enabled and facilitated their mobility tech solution inclusion and recruitment and selection strategies. I have also acquired multiple certifications in data and product management, and completed a Mini MBA from Tekedia Institute, where I gained insights and skills in business administration and management which has enhanced my HR expertise and competencies. My goal is to transform and improve the HR function and its impact on organizational and individual outcomes, using data-driven and evidence-based approaches.
