About Joseph Prather
I am a former US Army Military Police Officer with an M.S. in Clinical Mental Health. I have experience in behavior work with children with disabilities, as well as teaching in an elementary school setting. Formerly, I was an emergency mental health clinician and office-based mental health counselor at a community mental health center in Vermont. Currently, I own my own practice and provide therapy and consultation to the residents of SW Florida. I am also a trained Child Forensic Interviewer and am a board member for the Fort Myers, FL Family Resource Center and a member of the Association of Family Law Professional. My primary interest is working with children who have severe conduct problems, CU traits, and/or history of violent crimes, which may potentially lead to ASPD or psychopathy diagnosis later in life.
