About Joseph R. Sciandra

An experienced, decorated and valued senior executive of the law enforcement and corporate security communities who in January of 2020 agreed to join Domio, Inc. as its first Director of Corporate Security and Life Safety. Driven by technology, data, and human connections, Domio was dedicated to connecting the world through travel via a curated end-to-end experience within the hospitality industry. Prior to this, in 2014 agreed to be a founding member of GUARDIAN Operational Risk Management, Inc. a consulting co-op organization providing program development and assessment support to global fortune companies and educational organizations. In 2004 was named by Forest Laboratories, Inc. as its first Head of Corporate Security in the company’s 50 year history. Initially tasked with developing and implementing a comprehensive standardized physical security program, over the ensuing decade areas of global responsibility expanded to include supply chain security, internal and external threat investigations, brand protection, life safety and crisis management. A sought after lecturer, adjunct and published author having provided risk assessment consulting services to such entities as Yankee Stadium, Major League Baseball, Hewlett Packard, FMC, Procter & Gamble, Sprint, Eli Lilly, AIG, AstraZeneca, Daiichi Sankyo, Cushman & Wakefield, Goldman Sachs, Merrill Lynch, Colgate-Palmolive, Verizon, New York University, Brookfield Properties, The FBI/Joint Terrorist Task Force and the World Financial Center. Executive Protection services have been provided to political leaders, corporate leaders, foreign dignitaries, Royal Families and prominent members of the entertainment and sports fields. Recipient of over 25 commendations, citations, meritorious service and special achievement awards. A nationally recognized expert in Domestic Terrorism and a Court recognized expert witness. A founding member of American Society for Industrial Security (ASIS) Pharmaceutical Security Council and past President of the National BioPharmaceutical Security Council (NBSC). A former active member of the Pharmaceutical Security Institute (PSI), the U.S. Department of State's Bureau of Diplomatic Security Overseas Security Advisory Council (OSAC), the National Cyber-Forensic Training Alliance (NCFTA) Pharmaceutical Fraud Initiative and FBI-InfraGuard.
