About Joseph Robert

I have over 13.5 years of IT industry experience, Joined Mindtree as a campus recruit from IIT Kharagpur in the year 2007. Have worked on all stages of Software development life cycle including requirements analysis, Design, development, test frameworks, integration, customer handing, team management and post sales support. My Core competency is in short range wireless (Bluetooth),embedded systems, wireless protocol development and Project management. I have been part of Mindtree Bluetooth IP team for the past 7 years. I have worked on all layers of Bluetooth stack from applications (profiles) to Link layer (controller). I have experience working on Bluetooth products and Bluetooth Low energy based wearable devices. Design and development of Bluetooth low energy features on various SoCs. Have worked on developing device drivers for the various peripheral interfaces like I2C, SPI, UART etc. My core expertise is on Bluetooth controller. I am a contributor in Various BT SIG forums and have contributed in BT spec development by raising many Errata's and suggestions in SIG forums. I have attended 10 Bluetooth Unplugged Fests in different parts of the world inter-operating Bluetooth IP solution with various other implementations across the world. I have been awarded the Mindtree Pillar award for consecutive years.
