About Joseph Strada

I am an experienced technologist with a proven track record of success in leadership roles at some of the world's most successful companies. My unique background blends enterprise sales, technical expertise, customer success, sales enablement, and operations. I played a critical role in Oracle's transformation from an on-premises technology provider to a global Cloud leader, and before that, in its shift from a software-only vendor to an integrated hardware-software provider. I am now working with customers as an Enterprise AI Architect at Google. I have a deep understanding of multiple technology go-to-market models and experience in designing, enabling, and operating organizations for growth. My expertise in various cross-functional leadership positions includes workforce transformation initiatives, mergers and acquisitions integration, and new product launches. During my career, I have been instrumental in driving innovations, including: Defining and establishing Oracle’s Solution Engineering function for Oracle’s high-growth Cloud infrastructure businesses. Defining and establishing Oracle’s Cloud Customer Success function for the Cloud Infrastructure business. Co-developing the Oracle Value Selling methodology and leading the global adoption and sales force enablement of this strategic enterprise sales approach. Spearheading the rollout and ongoing delivery of standardized Account, Territory, and Opportunity planning processes on the sales side and Proof of Concept, Demonstration, Architecture, and Business Value processes from a solution engineering perspective. During the past five years, I have been on an extended work hiatus during which I moved countries and embraced a series of new challenges, gaining invaluable insights and a refreshed perspective on how to grow the next generation of technology leaders. With experience in navigating periods of technological disruption, I have been instrumental in helping businesses grow when the landscape shifts. As AI reshapes the technology landscape yet again, I’m excited to drive future innovations, leveraging my experience to help organizations and individuals succeed through the next wave of technological advancements.
