About Joseph Tramontozzi

Currently working in Research and Pharmaceutical Development (R & PD) at Lantheus, the leading radiopharmaceutical-focused company for oncologic-based diagnostic/therapeutic products, and precision diagnostics in non-oncologic conditions such as Alzheimer’s disease. In addition to this role, I do freelance work training next-generation AI models through multiple platforms on science (chemistry/biochemistry/biophysics) to improve response quality/accuracy for future use in the field. I completed a bachelor's degree in biochemistry and biophysics with a minor in chemistry and concentration in public health from Clark University. On campus, I was involved in multiple research projects in the Lazo Lab, which uses biochemical and biophysical methods such as mass spectrometry, circular dichroism spectroscopy, NMR spectroscopy, and electron microscopy to investigate protein misfolding and self-assembly, with potential applications in developing therapeutics for neurodegenerative diseases. At Clark, I received one summer fellowship and multiple scholarships based on academic excellence and research potential. I also worked/interned at Novartis Institutes for BioMedical Research (NIBR), Bristol Myers Squibb (BMS), Scale/OpenAI, National Aeronautics Space Administration (NASA), and Atlantic Corporation. I am most passionate about biochemistry/biophysics, medicinal chemistry, neuroscience, and AI/ML with keen interests in the philosophy of science and public health.
