About Joseph Varney

Ever since I was a little kid I loved Nebraska football. So when it came down to picking colleges there was only one place I wanted to go, the University of Nebraska-Lincoln. After we took the tour I was ready to enroll until we found out the out-of-state tuition prices. So, we decided the only way I could go to the University of Nebraska-Lincoln was to move to my grandma's house and live out my senior year in a town close by. During my college career I was not only focusing on my studies and extra curricular activities but I was also working two jobs to help pay for my expenses. After four years of hard work and dedication I now have a degree in business management with a minor in marketing. The key to achieving my goals is not only my drive for success but having a loving and supporting family that makes me want to work as hard as I can each and every day. Now, that I have graduated from UNL and have a full-time job as a contractor. I am currently looking for a full-time IT position.
