Aspiring Software Engineer | Future Project Manager | First-Gen Latina in Tech & Engineering I’m a senior at the University of Texas at Dallas, pursuing my degree in Software Engineering with a strong focus on software development, systems thinking, and project management. My academic journey has exposed me to software engineering fundamentals, data structures, machine learning, and networking protocols, giving me a foundation to design, test, and deliver impactful solutions. Alongside my technical growth, I’ve gained hands-on leadership and project management experience as President of SHPEtinas and an active SHPE leader. I’ve coordinated large scaled events, led fundraising and sponsorship initiatives, managed cross functional teams, and created mentorship opportunities for students in STEM. These experiences taught me how to plan, execute, and deliver projects with measurable results, a skillset I’m eager to bring into my future career in tech and project management. As a first-generation Latina in STEM, I’m committed to leveraging my skills not only to excel in software engineering but also to empower diverse communities and drive inclusive innovation.
