About Josh Apoderado

I am currently in an internship with the US Air Force that has provided invaluable education and experience in the field of Intelligence. I have conducted and directed intelligence collection, analysis, and production to provide answers to a variety of customers’ requests and mission requirements. This has also allowed me to excel as a civilian leader in the the USAF as I have experience directing other Air Force analysts during production. The mission sets involved in my reporting concern global events across several regional areas of responsibility, particularly in the CENTCOM and EUCOM AORs. I have contributed to and authored several GEOINT, SIGINT, OSINT, and All-Source intelligence products in this regard. I have been awarded three Quarterly Awards, twice at the Squadron level and once at the Group level, for my efforts and dedication in and out of the workplace.I am an avid researcher on foreign policy, defense, and politics. I have academic and professional experience in multi-source research using intelligence methodology, quantitative, and analytical techniques. Using such, I have previously conducted academic research and analytical papers on U.S. foreign policy priorities such as counterterrorism and near-peer competitors. My current position has allowed me to expand upon my tradecraft professionally with the experiences to reinforce such. I am passionate about studying current and historical events and their potential impact on the world. This interest has been furthered by the opportunity in my current position to provide time-dominant intelligence to decision-makers as well as lead other analysts to do the best they can. I am confident in my abilities as an analyst and am further motivated in continuing along this path as an American patriot, a member in the intelligence community, and a an aspiring leader in such. I look forward to tackling the intelligence challenges that our country faces today and the unforeseen ones of the future.
