In my 20th year at Celgar Pulp, I am honoured to have been promoted to the interim Managing Director role. In 2003 I started in the mill as the junior most entry level labourer in the Steam Plant. Over the years I studied and attained 2nd Class Power Engineer certification. Roles since then include Spoutman, Recaust Runner, Power Boiler Field Op, Recaust/Kiln Operator, Recovery Field Op, Recovery Boiler Operator, Utilities Shift Engineer, Production Manager, Director of Mill Operations and now Managing Director. I’ve worked with many great people and on strong teams that have taught me everything. I’m humbled by the journey and proud of our little mill’s contribution to local community and economy.
