With over 20 years of experience spanning the Canadian Armed Forces, humanitarian operations, government advisory roles, and academia, I’ve worked at the intersection of strategy, operations, and people, often in moments of uncertainty, change, or crisis. My career has been shaped by a personal drive to serve and sustained by a commitment to building systems that enable people to lead, adapt, and thrive. As Vice President of Organizational Excellence at Team Rubicon Canada, I lead enterprise portfolios spanning People Operations, Finance, and Risk. I’ve guided the organization through transformational efforts, designed a comprehensive job architecture, embedded trauma-informed safety protocols, am building the leadership infrastructure to support a mission-driven workforce, and designed financial systems that drive sustainable growth without compromising agility. My work is grounded in strategy and driven by people. I’ve led workforce design initiatives that align structure with purpose, coached executives through succession and culture change, and developed inclusive systems that balance accountability with compassion. I’ve taught graduate courses in crisis leadership and resilience, advised governments on climate adaptation, and helped teams shift from reactive operations to proactive strategy. In every case, I bring a bias toward action and a deep commitment to service. Whether advising boards and governments, leading national planning efforts, or building future-ready leadership systems, I bring a calm, strategic presence to complex environments and help others do the same.
