About Josh Buchalter

I am a graduate of Drexel University's LeBow College of Business with a degree in Finance and recently left a role in the Financial Advising industry with a firm called McAdam. Since the beginning of my career at Drexel, I have established a strong interest in financial planning, and making sure that I, along with my family and friends, have financially secure futures. I understand the importance of research and analysis: how short-term day-to-day decisions affect the long-term vision - whether that be for an individual or a company. As part of Drexel's program, I participated in three co-op internships at three different companies in the Philadelphia area. My first was at Philadelphia Housing Authority, where my primary goal was to run and oversee one of PHA's sites in North Philly. Following that, I had six months at SAP, the world leader in business application software, doing sales analysis for the different company regions and industries. Lastly, I worked for the Investment Fund for Foundation, a special investment firm who exclusively works with clients in the non-profit or endowment sector, performing routine administrative finance work. I was heavily involved in my fraternity, Alpha Epsilon Pi, during college, holding multiple leadership roles throughout my five years at Drexel. Now during my free time, I enjoy sports, with my favorites to participate in being volleyball and squash, hiking, swimming, reading, music, catching up on the hot new streaming shows, and exploring the culture and environment of whatever city I am in. I am an avid video gamer who loves to converse about them, research about them, and most of all, get lost in new worlds by playing them! I am a fan of all genres - classic FPSs, intense story-driven RPGs, and even the most mind-bending puzzlers! Being a gamer has greatly strengthened my observational and analytical skillset, as well as my time management, patience, and creativity.
