About Josh Cole

I’ve always been drawn to roles where organization, structure, and clear communication make a real difference. That instinct ultimately led me to Human Resources — a field where the work happening behind the scenes is what allows teams to succeed.I’m an HR graduate student and Human Resources Intern who specializes in administrative support, onboarding assistance, documentation management, and keeping teams organized. In my current HR internship at A Free Bird, I support core HR operations by preparing onboarding materials, training new interns, tracking candidates in our CRM, organizing internal communication files, and helping streamline and improve workflow efficiency. I’ve taken a hands-on role in documenting policies, building structured processes, and supporting leadership with operations and administrative tasks that require accuracy and consistency.My work style is methodical and detail-driven, shaped by competition as a Division 1 athlete and roles that demanded discipline and organization. Those experiences in fast-paced environments strengthened my communication, teamwork, and ability to manage large volumes of information — all of which directly support my HR operations and administrative work today.Currently, I’m completing my Master’s degree in Human Resource Management at Stony Brook University while working part-time, and I’m focused on building a career in HR Operations, HR Coordination and Administrative Support. I perform best in structured, detail-oriented environments where I can help the entire team run smoothly and maintain reliable HR systems.
