About Josh Dirksen

I have been a capital equipment supply planner for five years in the medical device industry. Working with in-house manufacturing and service as well as hosted products and OEM devices has given me a wide breadth of experience in my industry. I have participated in creating monthly S & OP submissions as well as numerous operational improvement projects. I work closely with engineering, R&D, Quality, Purchasing, Customer Service, Marketing, Technical Services and many other teams. I also work with our international functional teams on a daily basis. My first objective is always to do what is right for our customers and our patients. I have been with my company for almost 12 years. In my previous roles I have worked in or closely with Operations, Quality, Inventory Control, and Post-Market Surveillance/complaint reporting. In those roles I have acquired a deep understanding of manufacturing, quality, and service. I am considered the ERP SME in areas of manufacturing, inventory control, and work order functionality in SAP. In my previous role I was an integral contributor to the team tasked to duplicate the service procedures and work order functionality from our primary service facility into our European service center. Creating process and work instructions that bridge operational differences in both plants was a challenging but rewarding experience.
