About Josh Krolicki

I recently completed my clinical practicum at Southern California Recovery Centers in Carlsbad, where I supported individuals on their recovery journey and gained invaluable hands-on experience in a therapeutic setting. I am currently pursuing a Master’s in Counseling Psychology and anticipate finalizing my degree in January 2025, after which I will apply for my associate number to begin working toward licensure as a Marriage and Family Therapist in California.In addition to my academic and clinical training, I serve as a Mental Performance Coach at the Athletic Mind Institute, where I collaborate with Dr. Todd Kays to help athletes of all levels optimize their mental performance. Drawing from my background as a competitive golfer and a passion for positive psychological practices, I empower athletes to embrace the present moment, harness motivation, and manage the pressures of competition. My process-oriented cognitive/psychodynamic approach incorporates intentional practice regimens, visualization, and open discussion to cultivate mindfulness both on and off the field of play.As I transition into my associate years, I am excited to expand my clinical practice and am open to opportunities within both agency and private practice settings. I am committed to integrating my expertise in performance psychology with evidence-based therapeutic practices to support clients in achieving their goals.
