I stopped drinking in August 2022. Didn’t lose my job or my family and never drank all day, but in the end the question it came to wasn’t—is it a problem—but is it lifegiving? Ever since, I had a thought in my mind that I couldn’t escape: why aren’t there more options available in Wichita for folks who are choosing to abstain from alcohol for the long-haul, this month, or maybe just tonight? After months of trying not to think about it (and with strong encouragement from my wife), Gone Dry was born. Gone Dry is a booze free beverage distributor specializing in non-alcoholic beer, wine, spirits and functional drinks. We’re also a soon-to-be brick-and-mortar shop for folks in Wichita, KS looking for those same options to enjoy at home.
