As a senior sales engineering leader, I lead opportunity identification and ROI metrics our sellers will depend on to progress and close deals. Relying on 20+ years of sales, business development, corporate strategy, and competitive intelligence experience at three Fortune 100 companies (IBM, Samsung Mobile, and General Motors), I lead my teams to execute successful pilots of IBM artificial intelligence (AI) offerings for my global Fortune 50 companies. Regardless of my role, my work starts with building relationships, using human-centered design principles to build connections and learn about my clients' needs so we can discover together answers to the challenges they're facing. I lead my cross-functional team to to deliver both the technical results and the business justification to move forward with purchasing the solutions that will solve their pain points and improve their business results. My international experience and roles within three of the world's largest multinational companies have also taught me the importance of political and cultural sensitivities, especially when it relates to designing and presenting recommendations to executives.
