About Josh Miles

I am a skilled accountant having worked in practice (public and private sectors) and transferred these skills into industry within a Statutory Accounting role with 2 years experience. These roles have developed my technical knowledge using IFRS and UK GAAP (FRS 101 & FRS 102). I was the UK lead accountant for transition to IFRS 16 for GE by providing insight, training and support to the GE portfolio of entities in applying IFRS 16. I deliver value to my customers and colleagues by listening to their needs and drivers and agreeing on appropriate action. As a result of this, in my first Stat cycle I was formally recognised for contribution to annual audits resulting in a 16% reduction in days to file compared to previous year. This trend has continued into future years with process times down 62% across a larger portfolio of entities.
