About Josh Price

I am a highly motivated and driven data professional with 3 years of experience as a Data Scientist for a leading telecom company. In pursuit of my Master’s degree, I studied the fundamentals of probability and statistics, regression analysis, machine learning, and time series, among other topics. I have significant experience in data cleaning, data mining, ETL work, dashboarding, and data modeling. I’ve performed exploratory data analysis reports and built machine learning models in Jupyter notebooks. My thesis involved data simulations and multiple testing techniques for large numbers of variables. I work easily and naturally with others. I have experience working in close collaboration with stakeholders, interns, and colleagues to solve various challenges. Developing open communication and strong collaboration skills is essential for working with data, as often a data scientist will need to learn new datasets from others and be able to assess what coworkers and business partners need to have done with their data. I have a great many interests, which also tends to mean I find working with a variety of datasets to be interesting. Outside of work I enjoy practicing music, crocheting, cooking, reading, time spent with my dog Cocoa, and playing video games every now and then.
