Pitched and launched @NatGeo, National Geographic's first TikTok account (8M followers). Made it into a top 15 most followed media brand TikTok account in the world in its first year. Monetize Audiences - Built up sponsored and branded partnerships selling $15M annual against the accounts to hundreds of brands. Developed subscriber acquisition strategy 50 x – from 1.5K to 55K annual subscriptions. Strong Leadership – Created and fostered new social teams working across Disney and Nat Geo properties to innovate and promote tentpole priorities. Enabled direct reports to develop and thrive. New Product Development – Defined strategy and developed 20 AR filters with 100M total views leading to a $6M+ ad deal with Hyundai for a campaign with a dozen filters. Groundbreaking Storytelling - Pushed the boundaries of traditional assigning by developing enterprise projects highlighting the storytelling potential of emerging technology such as VR, 360, imaging technology, and an issue of TIME magazine focused solely on drones with a cover shoot involving 958 Intel drones. Social Video Strategy Leadership - Developed a social-first vertical video strategy and team, increasing output to a per day without increasing production costs.
