About Josh Radford

I'm a construction estimator with over a decade of experience in the industry, blending hands-on carpentry skills with a background in urban planning. Currently, I work at MAC Renovations, where I focus on building an estimating department and systems for both residential and commercial projects. In addition to my work in estimating, I co-own a company with my business partner where we transform tired single-family houses into high-quality, family-oriented duplexes and triplexes. We also focus on small-scale infill developments like garden suites and laneway homes. Our goal is to create long-term, family-friendly spaces that address the housing challenges the missing middle is currently facing.I’m passionate about improving systems and processes to keep projects running efficiently and profitably. I thrive on finding creative solutions to complex problems and building structures—both literal and organizational—that stand the test of time.Outside of work, I enjoy exploring computer science, web development, and programming. I’m also an avid reader and lifelong learner with interests in architecture, design, and the physical sciences. These hobbies fuel my curiosity and inspire me to keep pushing boundaries in both construction and development.
