About Josh Rubin

Having worn many hats in the field of education I will take advantage of the skills I honed in that time: organization, problem solving, self-motivation, innovation, and communication. In all of my roles, I have demonstrated an ability to plan, execute, and complete complex projects. I pride myself on communicating effectively and with charisma to diverse groups and individuals. This background, along with my work in theatre and media,has given me the ability to take on a wide range of responsibilities and quickly learn to adapt to new roles and technology. During my time as a teacher I was fortunate to work at some of the state and country’s most revered institutions. At my times there, I took advantage of opportunities to create and innovate my own Media strand and revitalize existing programs in Drama and English. I have redesigned, managed, directed, and taught both the classroom curriculum and the extracurricular programs for theatre, video production, radio and English in grades 6 through 12. I have built and maintained a community of theatre and media creators, actors, artists, and DJs that have brought a renewed focus and technical advancements to both the theatre and media program at my schools. I pride myself a collaborator, and have always sought out ways to connect my work and projects with other internal programs and professional organizations.
