About Josh Wheatle

I am a recent graduate of Teesside University with a 2:1 in BEng (Hons) Mechanical Engineering. As a child growing up I had a burning passion for taking things apart in order to understand the inner workings of many household devices. It was this insatiable curiosity that drove me to pursue a career in Mechanical Engineering. During my degree I undertook a broad range of modules where I applied technical knowledge to solve complex problems. In my final year I completed my dissertation investigating the use of finite element analysis to optimise patient-prosthesis subtype matching during the preoperative period. My dream is to use my fundamental understanding of engineering principles to make a positive impact on people's day to day lives through innovation and modern technologies.
