Background

About Joshua Abando

I started my career working in physical therapy and personal training clinics, applying critical thinking and adaptability skills in an interpersonal environment. I loved collaborating with my team throughout the whole process, from strategically directing our patient-care team to briefing the senior physical therapists or doctors to ensure an optimal patient outcome. I took these skills to the non-profit sector for the past two years, developing and managing young students who shared a vision to better the world through investing deeply in the next generation of leaders. I learned the power of asking good questions and listening deeply to my student's goals and challenges. Some of my favorite projects that I was able to work on were on leadership development and retreat planning. I saw tremendous results and personally experienced the impact when those same skills are applied to organizations I believe in the potential of good leaders and the organizations they serve and holistic human development for the betterment of society.
