Joshua Bartosz is an experienced Clinical Informatics Specialist currently working at Jefferson Health with over 8 years of experience working in the Hospital and Healthcare industry. Joshua holds 11 Epic Certifications showcasing his experience in the field. Joshua was awarded the GEM (Going the Extra Mile) Award for his expertise and dedication to excellence as a lead architect for the multimillion-dollar partnership between Jefferson Health and Labcorp. As Adjunct Faculty at Jefferson’s College of Health Professions, he created the curriculum ex novo for a new course, “Laboratory Informatics Fundamentals,” and currently teaches the course at an undergraduate and graduate level for the the Department of Medical Laboratory Sciences and Biotechnology.Joshua began his career at Jefferson in Clinical Microbiology and transitioned into Healthcare IT where he has led multiple Epic implementations in addition to facilitating ongoing Operational Steering Committees to align the clinical laboratories across the ever-expanding healthcare system.Joshua has been a panel speaker at the Executive War College and has been a speaker on subsequent webinars which focused on complex interoperability projects utilizing Ellkay’s interoperability platform to deliver laboratory and radiology orders and results between two divergent EHR/EMR systems in order to add value and diversity to the organization. Joshua is an innovator with a strong passion for education, a desire to find effective solutions to complex problems to further advance capabilities within the evolving Healthcare IT industry, and to provide the optimal level of service to patients and clients alike.
