About Joshua Beach

Entrepreneurial software engineer and product leader with over a decade of experience building and scaling technology startups. For the past six years, I’ve led the software design and development of Ribbn, an AI-powered commerce platform for the resale economy, transforming the way consignment and secondhand retailers sell online and in-store. Throughout this time, I’ve refined the art of how to rapidly take ideas from 0 to 1. In the founders’ circle, it’s all about user-driven iteration, establishing product-market fit as quickly as possible, and staying relentlessly execution-focused. You are either building features, writing code, or engaging directly with customers to drive growth.I have a deep passion for software architecture and engineering, blending classic design patterns with creative approaches to build clean, scalable, and maintainable systems. I am also highly committed to rigorous engineering practices, consistently writing tested, high-quality code and ensuring AI-driven systems meet the same standards. On the technical side, I am highly proficient with JavaScript-based languages and frameworks (TypeScript, React, Node, Next) as well as a variety of classic object-oriented languages, including Ruby, C++, and Rust.
