Background
About Joshua Bennett
Music teacher for K-10th Grade. Currently, I'm the Music Director at Lake City Academy in beautiful Coeur d' Alene Idaho. I recently began my career as a music teacher after nearly 10 years of military and private security experience. My discipline, tenacity, and love for music allowed me to step into the world of music. I possess my BFA in Creative Writing for Entertainment from Full Sail University. This allows me to utilize aspects of storytelling to illustrate song composition. I have been playing guitar for 15 years and have performed in church music groups. Currently, I play guitar/bass/vocals at Anthem Church in Coeur d' Alene, ID. When I don't have a guitar in my hands (rarely) I enjoy kettlebell training, high concept literature, video games, professional wrestling, and spending time with my wife and three children. My ultimate goal is to teach young people that music excellence and songwriting is not merely in the realm of the musically "gifted" but a successful mindset for learning.
