About Joshua Egbert

I am passionate about data science and software engineering. I currently work at Lucid Software as a front end engineer. I have earned multiple certifications, honors, and awards for my academic and extracurricular achievements, such as becoming a National Merit Finalist. I have also completed five software development internships at four different companies, including Amazon Web Services (AWS), where I worked on the teams responsible for EC2 instance networking and NAT Gateway networking. I developed and maintained systems that handled millions of server hosts, tracked and aggregated networking metrics, and ensured fault-tolerance and zero downtime. Through these internships, I have gained valuable skills and experience in frontend and backend development, user interface design, developer operations, and cloud infrastructure.
