About Joshua Esteban

I discovered a passion for creating video content in my GCSE media classes in which I excelled my peers and achieved an A grade overall. This gained my confidence in my video editing and filmmaking skills quickly. I studied Film and Television Production at Coventry College from 2017-to 2019. My passion for filmmaking grew and as did my skill set. I am experienced in the full adobe creative suite. As well as Avid media composer, pro tools and Davinci resolve. While also being able to work with Canon, Black-magic and Sony cinema cameras, as well as DSLR and mirrorless cameras. While at college, I began to start working freelance filming Jobs. I have been lucky enough to work with Holiday inn, Ricor LTD, Screen Stone, Coventry city Godiva Festival, TD detailing, Lithium skate CO and most recently video editor, graphic designer and head creative director at ahead of time academy a subscription-based website that uses webinars to teach young people how to grow a business and become an entrepreneur. In September of 2019, I enrolled at Hertfordshire University to study their award-winning film and television production course. In my time at Hertfordshire, I have been camera OP on two short films as well as second AC on a production in 2021. Most recently I have worked as Director of Photography and social media manager on a short film titled “Lullaby” that was released in the summer of 2022. I have since worked as Director of photography of an eight times award winning short film titled "PAN", as well as a camera operator for feature documentary film "her name was moviola" featuring Walter Murch. I have also worked within a London Based production company for a year as a cinematographer, camera operator and video editor.
