About Joshua Fox

I am a hard working and friendly individual working as a Tax Assistant at Irwin Mitchell LLP. Prior to this, I assessed medical negligence claims as a Client Experience Expert at the same firm. I have a diverse background of experience in charity fundraising, telephone customer service, voluntary committee roles, and after-school childcare. I am a graduate of the University of Bristol, having studied BSc Politics and International Relations from 2021 to 2024. Alongside my studies in Bristol, I worked roles as a Telephone Fundraiser for various charitable causes as well as after-school childcare for a local Bristol organisation. I put myself forward for various voluntary and society positions, most notably as the VP and Treasurer of the Manor Hall Junior Common Room, which planned and hosted several social events for over 400 students over first year teaching periods. I enjoy using generative AI to solve strategic problems and have previously built a very basic algorithm sequence within Excel. I am learning the fundamentals of HTML coding and plan to learn other programming languages to support the creation of spreadsheet-based algorithms. I am a political thinker and like to observe, influence, and address political issues, particularly those affecting young people. I have previously worked on the July 2021 Batley and Spen by-election campaign and the 2024 general election. I was also a founding contributor to a small-scale pressure group to inform the debate around COVID-19 recovery efforts in the period from August 2021 onwards. I am now back up north and live in Sheffield with my partner, where we are both closer to family and 5 minutes from the Peak District (which certainly wasn’t more important than the family factor!)
