About Joshua Hamilton

I have been building and repairing computers for friends, family and for my own personal use since the age of 14 and have since set up my own company and gained further employment within the industry. In 2008 I began to develop my skills further and started to teach myself how to program and build websites. By 2009 I had already created several websites for small, local companies. In 2010 I officially set-up and registered my company, HTML Blueprint Ltd. Setting up my own business was a direct response to the high demand from both existing and potential clients. The additional revenue was then put toward my University fees. In 2011 I moved to Cambridge to study a Bsc Hons in Computer Science and a CCNA (Cisco Certified Network Associate). While University was a great opportunity to develop my knowledge and understanding across a number of topics and modules, it also allowed me to meet new clients and grow my business by offering freelance work to a number of students. As a result of the growth of the business, I had setup a payroll and taken on five new employees by 2012. Up until late January 2015, I had been working for 365 Technical Plant Services in Knutsford, managing all aspects of their IT and network infrastructure. Recently, I have been providing technical support, designing and managing the development of mobile applications, websites and Customer Relationship Management systems. Whilst living in Cheshire, I also aided several local companies with computer and technical support, from a local cafe to rental companies. One of which was setting up an FCA regulated company - ensuring & ISO standards, and FCA regulations. The finanical services we offered were for vehicle finance and leasing. I have not only provided my IT knowledge, but provided (and throughout, expanded on) my range of business skills; planning for and attending meetings, working with a CCL and exercising relationships with customers, suppliers and partners.
