Throughout my fifteen year experience in Education, I have had the opportunity to work with students of various scholastic aptitudes, socioeconomic statuses, races, ethnicities and other factors that impact the quality of education one should receive within the public school system. Having this experience has given me a greater sense of awareness when having to make the best decisions for all stakeholders within the school community. My experience ranges from middle grades to high school in capacities such as teacher, administrator, coach, mentor and volunteer. My desire to help develop, guide and serve the youth of our society is what makes being an educator such a fulfilling and rewarding position. My quest to achieve racial and social equity and equality for all students to have the same opportunities during their educational pursuits will drive my efforts as an instructional leader.
