About Joshua McCarthy

I started working in harvey norman in 2012 on a school based traineeship. The day I left highschool i started full time at Harvey Norman Kingaroy, i was with them for about 4 years before I decided it was time to experience the city life. I moved to Brisbane in 2017 where I started work at Harvey Norman Everton park. I was in that store for just over a year before making my way down to Harvey Norman Carindale where I furthered my sales skills. I left harvey Norman in October 2019 to move into the car industry working for Zupps selling brand new cars. Unfortunately after starting in the car sales industry Covid hit and I was still in probation which unfortunately lead to my position being made redundant. I then took a break from the sales game and ventured into disability support for 3 years. I worked for a company in Brisbane for 12 months where I got my diploma in community support before venturing into self employment for the remainder of my time in disability support. In August 2022 we moved to Gladstone where I seen a sales rep job advertised for Wurth on seek and decided it was time to give sales another go. I’m officially off my probation now and fully employed with Wurth and loving everyday of it.
