I lead at the intersection of student development and organizational effectiveness—aligning people, data, and purpose to create systems for learning and communities that flourish. Effective leadership in higher education is inherently integrative. It connects people, systems, and strategy across student affairs, academics, and operations to create cohesive, student-centered outcomes. This approach reflects my commitment to coherence—where evidence informs action, reflection sustains improvement, and purpose guides performance. With a Ph.D. in Higher Education and more than a decade of progressive experience, I’ve advanced initiatives spanning student affairs, auxiliary operations, institutional research, and strategic planning. My work bridges the academic, business, and student affairs domains—aligning mission and margin to strengthen belonging, retention, and institutional effectiveness. At my core, I’m driven by a belief that when people flourish, institutions do too. That conviction has shaped my work as a teacher, mentor, and facilitator—designing learning environments, professional development programs, and organizational change initiatives that help individuals grow with clarity, courage, and purpose. As Dean of Residence Life at MSOE, I oversee residence life, dining, and auxiliary operations that connect belonging with fiscal stewardship. Under my leadership, student satisfaction rose from 25% to 62%, while optimized housing operations generated nearly $1 million in new revenue—earning recognition for financial stewardship and operational excellence. Earlier in my career at Ball State University, I received the ACCESS Award for promoting access and inclusion, recognizing my enduring dedication to fostering a sense of belonging. As a first-generation TRIO student, that mission is personal. Leadership, at its best, ensures every student is seen, supported, and inspired to succeed. Across every role, I’ve sought to turn data into dialogue and strategy into shared purpose—co-leading national assessment initiatives (PSRI, GPI, KEEN) and facilitating strategic plans that unify student learning, development, and institutional improvement. My work consistently bridges people, data, and purpose—building connected campus communities and delivering measurable, mission-aligned results.
