Background

About Joshua Moore

Currently I work as a Clinical Learning Facilitator, at Swansea University, supporting Cardiac Physiology students on placements and providing training in clinical assessments and skills. Following a career change, I trained as a Cardiac Physiologist in Gloucestershire NHS trust and University of West England. As a Cardiac Physiologist, I have developed a keen interest in Cardiac Pacing and Devices and been nominated for the 'Rising Star Award' by the SCST. Whilst attending Swansea University, I completed an undergraduate degree in Sports and Exercise Science, which led to an MSc (by Research) specialising in Novel Neck Strength assessment in professional rugby union players. My successes in both research and teaching at the university led to employment as an Academic Tutor within the Sports and Exercise Science department, where I delivered lectures and tutorials in Sports Biomechanics. Rugby Union has also played a huge part of my life, having played and captained at the highest level of university rugby union in BUCS Super Rugby and represented Ospreys u23s in Celtic cup competitions. Rugby Union and Sport have been a huge interest of mine, leading to coaching opportunities in Gloucestershire.
