About Joshua Nelson

Working for Royal Mail and UPS has given me vital experience in working in high pressure roles that are time critical. At UPS this included ensuring that the lorries were loaded on time to enable them to reach their connections and onward depots. Royal Mail has also given me the experience of a very customer faced role in which I am a public face of the company delivering a quality service with a safety conscious and friendly attitude and work ethic. From working as a Cub and a Scout leader, I have worked individually and as part of a team to plan and implement programs which motivate and enable young people to achieve. This has also allowed me to develop highly effective communication skills with the parents of the children and working one on one with the children themselves.I am now also studying Biology full time at the University of Derby, having decided to gain a degree in a subject I am passionate about to advance my career.
