About Joshua Piercey

Qualified horticulturalist (Level 3 Advanced Technical Diploma) and UEA MA Creative Writing graduate. I've now been in therapeutic and activist environmental spaces long enough to know my way around a community gardening project (and the budget for it), a decent-sized fundraising bid (I reckon I've raised nearly half a million quid by now for various things) and whatever aggro you need to sort on your estate before we can do a tree-planting session. I work to improve community access to green space. Increased green space access has myriad proven harm-reductions - especially the harm caused by income inequality - including increased wellbeing, recovery and resilience. I also write poetry, the occasional video script and longer fiction and non-fiction; in my ideal future you'll have read at least some of that. I've got me an agent, and I'm still writing books. You never know.
