About Joshua Strub

Client quote:"Thanks Josh. Honestly, one of the best, most complete pieces of work we have received – and we work with lawyers a lot! It was excellent and better than I hoped for going into this assignment."In 2020, I started Margie Strub Construction Law LLP where we have grown quickly, providing efficient and effective legal advice to a variety of clients in the construction industry. Our boutique, hands-on approach provides a level of expertise, service, and efficiency that continues to impress clients on a daily basis, particularly those who have switched to us from the larger law firms. I offer a unique set of knowledge and skills to clients, developed through my dual degree in Civil and Structural Engineering and Law and my experience running the legal affairs of Canada’s largest track and transit construction and maintenance contractor. I also owe a debt of gratitude to my former law firm where I spent the beginning of my career. There I focussed primarily on disputes involving claims in the hundreds of millions of dollars in the oil and gas, hydro-electric, mining and metals industry, and transit infrastructure. In my spare time, I volunteer, teach, speak, value and purchase private businesses, and most importantly, spend time with my wonderful family.
