Driven secondary teacher specialising in English and History, with a passion for inclusive pedagogy, student wellbeing, and critical thinking. I believe in creating rigorous yet supportive learning environments where all students, regardless of background, can thrive academically and personally. Currently teaching in Melbourne's outer south-east, I work with diverse cohorts across English and Humanities, combining high expectations with responsive, culturally aware practice. I am particularly focused on building student confidence in reading, writing, and reasoning, and have a strong interest in embedding wellbeing into literacy instruction. Beyond the classroom, I hold a Position of Responsibility as the coordinator of an after-school Extension and Enrichment Writing Program for high-achieving students. I’ve also coached our Year 7 AFL team, reflecting my commitment to whole-school engagement and student connection beyond academics. As a current Teach For Australia associate, I bring a deep commitment to educational equity and system-level change. My background in education recruitment and customer-facing roles has equipped me with strong communication, stakeholder engagement, and leadership skills. Currently completing a Master of Teaching (Secondary)(Leading Learning), I’m actively seeking opportunities for professional growth, collaboration, and future leadership—both within and beyond the classroom.
