About Joshua Wolf

As a a cinematographer and editor, I have been fortunate to work on some really great projects with some very special people. With each passing year, I see the growth in my abilities to craft compelling stories using my intuition, technical skill and understanding of the subject matter. My past experience stems from filming and editing educational videos for a small, campus television studio at the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee. Later on in my campus career, I joined DocUWM as a Research Assistant. In this role, I was able to visit many neighborhoods and meet countless, caring individuals that were providing their communities an opportunity to join one another in conversation and healthy community building activities such as, park clean ups, art for kids, art installations and even downhill go-kart racing. My job was to capture these community events using video and then edit the video into short-form documentaries. Upon graduation, I joined my friends in developing our business Badger Creative that currently operates in Wisconsin. Since then, I collaborated on projects with WCEP, PrideFest, Yoga 4 Change and Road America. As a video producer, I develop strategies for my clients on how to best represent their company using video and storytelling. I am a lead cinematographer and editor, as well as, graphic designer, accountant, customer service and salesman. I hope this gives you some insight into my work history and development throughout the years as a content creator. I am dedicated to film and the art of filmmaking, so much so, that I actually read books about cinematography and editing techniques.
