A passionate, hardworking member of the institute of accountants and bookkeepers with excellent communication and organisational skills and an eye for detail developed through various voluntary roles who is now looking to help a small business or charity with their invoices and/or bookkeeping free of charge, to give me some real life experience in Accountancy. My campaign as a Councillor Candidate at The Labour Party harnessed strong community engagement, with a focus on addressing resident queries and fostering group collaboration. While I didn't secure the position(s), producing targeted leaflets refined my communication skills and deepened my commitment to community service. I have also expanded on these skill by door knocking, making call and delivering leaflets on behalf of my fellow candidates. As an Operational First Aider at St John Ambulance, our team facilitated critical support during the COVID-19 crisis at Tameside Hospital, enhancing my proficiency in high-pressure environments. Concurrently, my academic journey in Mathematics at The Open University, paired with advancing towards professional accounting certifications, anchors my analytical competencies, preparing me to contribute meaningfully to financial and community-oriented roles.
