About Josiah Avery

I am a hospitality professional with a focus on luxury experiences. In the Spring of 2020, I graduated from the Collins College of Cal Poly Pomona with a Bachelors of Science in Hospitality Management with an emphasis in Lodging. I am currently looking for opportunities to further my career in luxury hospitality management. My professional career began with five and half years of work experience in a local grocery store where I honed my people skills. I have since had 3 years of experience in both front of house food and beverage as well as front desk and housekeeping at a small boutique hotel and restaurant, The Landsby Inn, Solvang, California. In the summer of 2019, I was able to work for a company I have had my sights on for a while, Kimpton Hotels and Restaurants. I was blessed with an opportunity to work at their beautiful Goleta, California location, The Goodland, where I further fueled my passion for hospitality in the restaurant and hotels industry. After graduating, I took the opportunity to work for the acclaimed San Ysidro Ranch in the hills of Montecito, California.
