Background
About Josie Copson
I joined Metro in 2023 as Senior TV Reporter before moving into the role of Senior Features Writer. I have a decade of journalism experience, which has taken me everywhere from celebrity weddings to parliamentary events. I am an award-winning journalist that is interested in telling people's stories, whether that’s a TV star, an activist or a local hero. My current job means I’m able to cover a wide variety of topics in longform features, including lifestyle, political subjects, health, entertainment, human interest and cultural trends. I am particularly passionate about diversity, women’s issues and whatever is currently being analysed in WhatsApp group chats across the country. Alongside Metro, I have written for Cosmopolitan and OK, and spoken on BBC Radio 1Xtra.
