About Josie Loth

My name is Josie Loth, I am a 2023 healthcare management graduate from Appalachian State University. I currently work as a Junior Project Manager for the DMO at Novant Health where I help onboard new project requests for DPS by identifying resource and cost information. Additionally, I help guide the Novant team members and their respective technology vendors that they request through the necessary vetting process to ensure the protection of patient information. My passion for patient care comes from my time as a student administrative support associate where I made sure the needs of patients were met through the administrative portion of their care. I coordinated appointments, provider schedules, and assisted with projects like verifying the vaccination records of the students.I have an interest in quality/process improvement, project management, and clinical/operational management, but I am open to learning a bit of everything in healthcare. A few of the many skills I am proud to share include time management, problem-solving, organization, Microsoft application utilization, and Service Now utilization. I look forward to growing my skill set through whatever I do, as I am committed to being a lifelong learner. Through my involvement in the healthcare management program at Appalachian State University and extra curriculars like the Future Healthcare Executives Club and Dementia Awareness Club, I am excited to continue my career in healthcare administration and contribute to the improvement of healthcare.
