About Josie Swift

Overview of Career to Date: My passion for hospitality developed in my gap year, when I started working for a local pub. This was my first real job and it provided me with a sharp learning curve, where I learnt a lot from the practicalities of racking and tapping barrels, to boosting my confidence and developing those all important multitasking skills. This was my first stepping stone into the hospitality industry and when I knew the interaction with customers and the buzz of working within the Hospitality Industry is where I want to be. To my next stepping stone, my degree in International Hospitality Management. This was an incredible experience where I learnt a lot about the hospitality industry, from the back of house kitchen side of life to buzzing front of house. This has given me invaluable experience which I hope to build on in my future. Career Ambitions: Furthermore, I am keen to venture further into the events industry, aspiring to become an events manager. What motivates me: Happy customers from making their perfect vision a reality. Supportive colleagues is a must but appreciation when your team has made someone's day is magical.
